Daniel Evans is a British professional tennis player who achieved a career-high singles ranking of No. 21 on August 7, 2023. Evans is currently ranked No. 40 and has won two ATP singles titles to date, including the ATP Tour 500 Mubadala Citi DC Open in 2023. He defeated Frances Tiafoe, Grigor Dimitrov and Tallon Griekspoor to win the title.

Evans registered his best performance in a major tournament at the 2021 US Open and the 2017 Australian Open, where he reached the fourth round. The British No. 2 played his longest match of the season against Roberto Carballes Baena at the 2023 Rome Open, lasting almost four hours.
