The Russian tennis player Daria Kasatkina was born and raised in Tolyatti, Russia. Tolyatti is a well-known industrial city in Russia's Samara Oblast, which is located about 620 miles southeast of the busy capital, Moscow. The Volga Automotive Plant (VAP), which influences Russia's industrial landscape, is located in this city, which is noteworthy for that reason. Further, Kasatkina's father, Sergey, worked as an engineer at VAP.
