She finished quarterfinalist at the 2024 Wimbledon Open, losing to Elena Rybakina. Svitolina ended her last season early due to surgery from the China Open. She reached back-to-back quarterfinals at the Australian Open and Indian Well Masters in 2025, losing to eventual champions Madison Keys and Mirra Andreeva.
