Elise Mertens Grand Slams

Elise Mertens has won four doubles Grand Slam titles in her career till date, including the 2024 and 2021 Australian Open, the 2021 Wimbledon, and the 2019 US Open. Elise Mertens won her first grand slam doubles title at the US Open in 2019 with Aryna Sabalenka, where they defeated Victoria Azarenka and Ashleigh Barty in the final.

At the 2021 Australian Open, she, along with partner Aryna Sabalenka, defeated Katerina Siniakova and Barbora Krejcikova 6-2, 6-3 in the final. It was Mertens and Sabalenka's second title as a team.

Mertens teamed up with Hsieh Su-wei at the 2021 Wimbledon, where the pair defeated Veronika Kudermetova and Elena Vesnina in the final. They saved two championship points in the match. With the win, Mertens reclaimed the No. 1 position in doubles.

Mertens's fourth major title in doubles came at the 2024 Australian Open, where she and her partner Hsieh Su-wei defeated Jelena Ostapenko and Lyudmyla Kichenok in the final.

How many WTA titles has Elise Mertens won?

Mertens has won 20 doubles and eight WTA singles titles in her career to date. She has won seven WTA 1000-level events in doubles and two WTA 500-level events in singles. She won her fifth WTA 1000 title in doubles at the 2023 Italian Open alongside Storm Hunter, where they defeated the team of Jessica Pegula and Coco Gauff. At the 2023 Guadalajara Open Akron, she and Hunter defeated Erin Routliffe and Gabriela Dabrowski in the final, which was her sixth WTA 1000 doubles title.
