Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic to meet in Wimbledon final

London, July 4 (IANS) Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic will play for the Wimbledon men's singles title Sunday, having removed two exciting young men in the semi-finals Friday at the All England Club.

Federer, chasing his record eighth Wimbledon crown to go one better than Pete Sampras, outclassed Canada's Milos Raonic 6-4, 6-4, 6-4, while Djokovic rallied to down Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, 6-4, 3-6, 7-6 (2) and 7-6 (7).A

Federer, who entered his 25th Grand Slam final, has 17 major titles, and he is in a title clash here for the first time since he won it in 2012.

For the top-seeded Djokovic, this will be his third final here in four years, and overall his 14th Grand Slam final, 10th in his last 13 majors. He had a tough time overcoming Dimitrov 6-4, 3-6, 7-6 (2) and 7-6 (7).
