Carlos Alcaraz won his career's 200th ATP match during his round-of-16 clash at the China Open. He defeated Tallon Griekspoor in straight sets, 6-1, 6-2 in just under an hour to book a place in the quarterfinals in Beijing. Coincidently, his 100th win came against the same opponent at the 2023 Indian Wells Open.
Compared to the 'Big Three', Alcaraz is the quickest to register 200 wins on the ATP tour, in just 252 matches, the second-quickest ever behind John McEnroe. Alcaraz has a record of 200 wins and 52 losses, with a win percentage of 79.4%.
Rafael Nadal needed 255 matches to reach 200 ATP wins, losing 55 times. He had a win percentage of 78.4% during his initial 200 ATP match wins and is the second-fastest behind Alcaraz among the Big Three.
Novak Djokovic comes next with a win percentage of 72.9 during his initial 200 ATP wins. The Serbian needed 274 matches to register 200 wins, losing 74. He ranks 14th among quickest players to get 200 ATP wins. Roger Federer took the longest to reach 200 ATP wins among the Big Three. He needed 302 matches at a win percentage of 66.2%.
However, Federer ended up staying as the World No. 1 for 310 weeks, trailing only Djokovic who has spent 428 weeks at the top of the ATP rankings. Nadal has spent the least weeks as the World No. 1 among the Three, topping the ATP ranking for 209 weeks.
So far, Carlos Alcaraz has spent 36 weeks as the World No. 1 and registered 200 ATP wins. The 21-year-old has four Grand Slam titles so far in his career and is one of the most robust players in the tennis world.

Carlos Alcaraz needed just 56 minutes to brush aside Tallon Griekspoor in the China Open to book a place in the last eight of the competition. He is the favourite to win the tournament along with Jannik Sinner and the two top seeds could meet in the final.
After registering his 200th ATP win against Griekspoor, Alcaraz said:
"It was a great achievement, getting my 200th win on the ATP Tour. I always try and want to win every match that I play. Just two years and a half, more or less, being on the Tour, playing the Tour, having my 200th win is great for me. I just want to keep going, to keep getting more and more wins."
Alcaraz is set to face Daniil Medvedev in the semifinals at the China Open.
