At the young age of 23, Iga Świątek has remarkable achievements and a rapid rise to stardom. She was born on May 31, 2001, and has dominated the WTA over the past few years. Świątek has become a prominent figure in the sport, firmly securing her position as the World No. 1 in the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) rankings for 125 weeks.

In 2022, Świątek made history by becoming the first woman since Serena Williams in 2013 to win both the US Open and the French Open in the same season. As of the 2024 season, the powerhouse has five Grand Slam titles, including three consecutive French Open titles from 2022 to 2024. She finished a rather flawless 2024 clay court season by winning her fourth French Open crown, beating Jasmine Paolini in the final.

As of 2024, Swiatek has won 22 singles titles over her entire tennis career, including the 2024 Madrid Open and the 2024 Italian Open, where she defeated Aryna Sabalenka in the final. After a surprise exit in the 2024 Australian Open, Swiatek regained lost form by winning the championship at the 2024 Qatar Open and the Indian Wells Masters - defeating Elena Rybakina and Maria Sakkari, respectively, in the finals.

She finished semifinalist at the 2024 Dubai Tennis Championship and the 2024 Stuttgart Open. Swiatek entered her 100th week as the world's No. 1, surpassing Lindsay Davenport and thus acquiring ninth place in the all-time table. Her amazing 37-match winning streak marked the longest winning run on the WTA Tour in the twenty-first century. However, her streak was broken by gold medalist Qinwen Zheng in the semifinal of the 2024 Paris Olympics. She eventually had to settle for a bronze medal by registering a win against Anna Karolína Schmiedlová in straight sets, thus becoming the first player from Poland to win a medal in tennis.

Earlier in 2023, Świątek continued to shine on the tennis court. She demonstrated her unwavering commitment to excellence by clinching her third French Open title, triumphing over Karolína Muchová in an intense final that lasted three sets, with scores of 6-2, 5-7, 6-4. Since the start of her journey in 2016, Świątek has continuously displayed her amazing skills.
