Kei Nishikori looking to go all the way in London

Kei Nishikori will be looking to win the Tour finals on his debut

Kei Nishikori has already broken a few records this year and is looking to break some more records going into the ATP World Tour Finals which begins today at the O2 Arena in London. Nishikori believes that he has it in him to go all the way and lift the coveted trophy on November 16th.

He starts his campaign off against fan favourite Andy Murray who has been quite brilliant over the past one month. Here is what he had to say :"I want to win the whole thing. But it will be a tough tournament. If I can play good tennis for five matches, I will have a chance to win the whole thing. I just need to believe in myself. Next year, I want to be Top 5 all the time and maybe rise to No. 3 or No. 2. I hope to reach a Grand Slam final again and win one of the Masters 1000s next year.”

Nishikori had a breakthrough season this year on court. He became the first Japanese player to break into the top 10 and became the first Asian to ever reach a grand slam final. He also reached his first Masters 1000 Series final at the Mutua Madrid Open this year. He will be looking to convert these final losses to wins in 2015 as he hopes to win at least one Masters 1000 series and win a Grand Slam as well.

But for now, his main focus is the ATP World Tour Finals as he looks to win it on his debut and become the first Asian to ever do it in singles.
