Laver Cup 2023: Team World and Team Europe players dazzle on black carpet

As the Laver Cup prepares to kick off in Vancouver from September 22nd to 24th, both Team World and Team Europe, along with their partners, make a stylish appearance on the black carpet.

A recent social media post captured Tommy Paul with his girlfriend, Paige Lorenze, Taylor Fritz accompanied by his girlfriend, Morgan Riddle, Felix Auger-Aliassime in the company of his girlfriend, Nina Ghaibi, and Frances Tiafoe with his girlfriend, Ayan Broomfield, all elegantly gracing the black carpet.

In another post, Gael Monfils, Andrey Rublev, Hubert Hurkacz, and Arthur Fils exude charm in their tuxedos and sunglasses. The same post captures Casper Ruud and his girlfriend, Maria Galligani, as well as Alejandro Davidovich Fokina with his girlfriend, Paloma Amatiste, elegantly dressed and adding to the glamour.

The forthcoming tournament is set to be the sixth installment. In this edition, Team World, featuring players from every continent except Europe, will be aiming to defend their 2022 championship title. John McEnroe is leading the team once again and will be guiding the players in their pursuit of victory.

In addition to the guaranteed participation fees determined by the players' ATP rankings, each winning team member receives a prize of $250,000. However, it's important to note that the tournament's results do not count toward the players' ATP Tour point totals for the year.

In 2017, TEAM8, the management company of Roger Federer, joined forces with Brazilian businessman and former Davis Cup player Jorge Paulo Lemann, along with Tennis Australia, to establish the Laver Cup.

The inspiration behind this endeavor came from Roger Federer's desire to create a tennis team tournament akin to the biennial Ryder Cup golf tournament, where top golfers from the United States compete against their European counterparts.

Roger Federer has recently revealed his latest venture with On Running, a Zurich-based company specializing in athletic footwear and performance sportswear. Federer, who has maintained a close partnership and investment in On Running since 2020, has collaborated on the creation of two exclusive limited-edition shoes. These special releases are in honor of the forthcoming 2023 Laver Cup.

On September 14, the 20-time Grand Slam champion shared a picture of himself donning the limited-edition sneakers on his Instagram profile.
