The sixth Laver Cup will be held at the Rogers Arena, on indoor hard courts in Vancouver, Canada, in 2023. The tournament will start on September 22 and last through September 24. After winning the championship for the first time last year, Team World will be attempting to defend their title.
Six players from each team will compete in a series of singles and doubles matches over the course of three days. The first team to accumulate 13 points wins the Laver Cup.
Each member of the winning team receives $250,000 in prize money in addition to guaranteed participation fees that are determined by the players' ATP rankings, but the competition itself does not count toward the participants' ATP Tour point totals for that year.
Two of these players are picked by the team leaders, while the remaining four qualify based on their ATP rankings. One of the best players to ever play the sport will serve as the captain for each team — Bjorn Borg for Team Europe and John McEnroe for Team World.
Tennis legend Roger Federer announced his retirement at the conclusion of the previous Laver Cup, leaving the entire world in tears. Fans from all over the world tuned in simply to see their idol play tennis one last time.

Laver Cup 2023 Format
In the Laver Cup 2023 tournament, six players from Europe face off against six players from the rest of the world.
Three days of play include nine singles matches and three doubles matches. On Day 1, two points are awarded for each match victory, and three points are awarded on Day 3. The winning team can only be determined on day three because the tournament champion is the first team to receive 13 points.
A player is only allowed to play singles twice. Each doubles match involves at least four of the team's six players. All matches are 3-set matches, however, if the match is tied at one set all, a 10-point "match tiebreak" is used to decide the winner.
In the event that both teams are tied with 12 points on day 3, a fifth match known as "The Decider" is played. One set in this game is played like any other set, complete with scoring and a tiebreaker.
If just one game needs to be played on Sunday, an exhibition game is played following the trophy celebration. The latest tournament that called for an exhibition match was the Laver Cup in 2021.
Who are the players participating in the Laver Cup in 2023?
