She has won nine singles titles to date, including the 2019 Cincinnati Open, where she defeated former world No. 1 Simona Halep in the third round, Venus Williams in the quarterfinals, and Svetlana Kuznetsova in the final.

Keys’ best Grand Slam performances include winning the 2025 Australian Open. She secured a win over No. 2 Iga Swiatek in the semifinal by 5-7, 6-1, 7-6. Fans enjoyed the final between two-time Australian Open champion Aryna Sabalenka and Keys. In the final, she stunned the two-time defending champion and No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka by 6-3, 2-6, 7-5. She became the second player after Svetlana Kuznetsova to defeat both the No. 1 and No. 2 in major. She won a prize of A$3,500,000 for winning the title.

Keys advanced to the 2024 Eastbourne International semifinals before falling to Leylah Fernandez. She defeated Danielle Collins in the 2024 International de Strasbourg finals to claim her eighth WTA singles title. At the 2025 Adelaide International, Keys won against Jessica Pegula in the final by 6-3, 4-6, 6-1. She then advanced to the quarterfinal of the 2025 ASB Classic, where she lost to Clara Tauson.
