Before Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal came to the fore, Pete Sampras was termed as the Greatest of All Time (GOAT).

Pistol Pete, as he was fondly known, dominated the tennis circuit in the 1990s. He formed a great rivalry with Andre Agassi, with the two players producing some breathtaking tennis matches through the years.

Sampras went on to win a total of 14 Grand Slam titles, with 7 Wimbledon titles, 5 US Open titles, and 2 Australian Open titles. Unfortunately, he failed to win a single French Open title.

He remains third on this list right now but that could soon change.
