The Russian is one of the game's best counterpunchers and tends to play his best tennis on hardcourts, where he has won multiple big titles. Medvedev has a mean serve, hits big off either flank and moves well for his height. Moreover, he doesn't have qualms to come to the net to keep his opponent guessing.

Meanwhile, Eubanks has more modest attributes, having won just twice all year before coming to Miami. The American has a potent serve and a decent hardcourt game, but he's unlikely to trouble the red-hot Medvedev in this first-time meeting.
