Promising young Russian tennis sensation Mirra Andreeva has wreaked havoc on the court with her versatile and power-pack performance. At 17, Andreeva showcased her best Grand Slam performance by reaching the semifinals of the 2024 French Open. She created the biggest upset by defeating Aryna Sabalenka in the quarterfinals, becoming the youngest player after Martina Hingis to reach the French Open semifinals. She also reached the quarterfinals of the same tournament in doubles with Vera Zvonareva.
Andreeva won her first-ever WTA singles title at the 2024 Lasi Open when her opponent, Elina Avanesyan, retired hurt during the third set.
