Alexander Bublik recently revealed his discussion with Tommy Paul over the pickleball abilities of the latter's veteran compatriots, Sam Querrey and Jack Sock. However, Querrey was left rather disgruntled by what Bublik had to say, while Sock found himself in splits.

Recently, Querrey and Sock, who also happen to be co-hosts of the Nothing Major podcast, had a hilarious exchange with Alexander Bublik, who featured as a guest on the podcast. The crafty and ever-entertaining Kazakh shared a comedic story of a discussion he had with Tommy Paul at this year's Rolex Paris Masters.

According to Bublik, Paul had spoken highly of Sock's pickleball prowess, but not so much when it came to Querrey. Read the entire exchange below:

"Tommy (Paul) told me that Jack (Sock) is very good and Sam (Querrey) is very bad," Bublik said.
"What?! This is so annoying," Querrey quipped back.
"Like Jack is making s**t ton of money off doing that and Sam is barely, you know, don't do much," Bublik replied.
"Oh my gosh," Querrey replied.
"That's what Tommy Paul told me in Paris because we had this discussion in the locker room in Paris and they're like you know, 'Pickleball'. I never played in my life. I do padel. And he's like, "Oh! You know, Jack is amazing, playing unbelievable and then Sam is super bad". That's the only thing I know about you guys in pickleball," Bublik explained.
"Hey you know at least they're talking about me in the locker room, you know, the pickleball skills I guess," Querrey concluded the exchange.

Jack Sock, a former World No. 8 in singles and World No. 2 in doubles, called time on his tennis career last year, with the 2023 US Open marking his final competitive outing. Since then, Sock has focused on pickleball and has quickly established himself as one of the top players of the sport globally. Currently, the American is ranked at No. 10 on the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) Tour rankings.

Sam Querrey, a former World No. 11 on the ATP Tour, retired in 2022, and last year, like Sock, he became a pickleball player. However, Querrey's pickleball pursuits so far have not yielded as much success as Sock's has.

Earlier this year, the legendary John McEnroe had poked fun at Sock over leaving tennis for pickleball.

In the buildup to Pickleball Slam 2, Jack Sock appeared at a promotional event alongside John McEnroe, Andre Agassi, Maria Sharapova, and James Blake. At one point during the event, McEnroe made fun of Sock for putting an end to his tennis career to pursue pickleball.

"Jack, I wanna say goodbye man. I can’t believe he helped me win the Laver Cup, I lost four times in a row. This guy helped us win the Laver Cup and then he becomes a professional pickleball player," McEnroe said.

Andre Agassi, Steffi Graf, and Jack Sock ultimately won Pickleball Slam 2, with John McEnroe, Maria Sharapova, and James Blake having to settle for second-best.
