Tennis Legend Billie Jean King met with the top two seeds on the men's side of the 2024 US Open, Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic. She expressed delight in meeting them and called the experience 'terrific'.

King, widely considered one of the most important figures in women's tennis, is currently at the US Open, which is held at the tennis center named after her. The American, in her illustrious career, won a total of 39 Grand Slams, but she also achieved a lot off the court. She is a huge advocate for gender equality and founded the WTA (Women's Tennis Association) in 1973.

The 80-year-old bumped into World No. 1 Jannik Sinner and World No. 2 Novak Djokovic at the Billie Jean King Tennis Center. She took to Instagram to share photos of herself embracing the top seeds, calling her meetings terrific.

"All you need is hugs. Terrific to run into the World No. 1 and World No. 2 today. #USOpen, " she wrote.

Both Sinner and Djokovic are off to flying starts at Flushing Meadows, having reached the third round. Meanwhile, the Serb defeated Radu Albot in his opening round and reached the third round after Laslo Djere retired in the second round match when Djokovic was 6-4, 6-4, 2-0 up.

The winner of their match will play the winner of 13th seed Ben Shelton vs 20th seed Frances Tiafoe in the fourth round.

On the other hand, Jannik Sinner will play Christopher O'Connell next, in what will be the third meeting between the two. They have both won a match each, with the most recent one coming at the Miami Open this year, where the Italian prevailed in straight sets.
