Amanda Anisimova recently shared a delightful photo of herself, showing off her adorable panda plushie. She posed with the toy while enjoying a fun day out with her friend.

After wrapping up her 2024 season, Anisimova has been enjoying some time off the court. Last month, she revealed that she had dyed a new dark brown hair color, a change from her natural blonde locks.

Recently, Amanda Anisimova's friend Eleanor Bruce took to social media and shared a sweet moment of the 23-year-old in a plushie shop, cuddling with a panda plushie.

Anisimova later re-shared Bruce's photo on her social media.

After missing out on playing for almost eight months in 2023 due to injuries and a mental health break, Amanda Anisimova made a comeback at the 2024 ASB Classic. He was granted a wildcard entry to the main draw in the tournament and began by defeating Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in the first round. However, her campaign ended in the second round when she fell to fifth seed Marie Bouzkova.

The former World No.21's best result this season was finishing as the runner-up at the Canadian Open, losing the title to compatriot and defending champion Jessica Pegula. She also had a quarterfinal run at the Citi Open where she fell to fellow American Caroline Dolehide.

Amanda Anisimova also competed in all four Grand Slam tournaments. She reached the fourth round at the Australian Open before falling to eventual champion Aryna Sabalenka and then had a second-round run at the French Open before losing to Liudmila Samsonova.

The American failed to enter the main draw at the Wimbledon Championship after losing to Eva Lys in the third qualifying round. At the last Grand Slam tournament of the year, the US Open, Anisimova's campaign ended in the first round after losing to Zheng Qinwen.

Earlier this year, while speaking at a press conference, Amanda Anisimova expressed finishing her career without winning a Grand Slam title and being a World No.1 ranked player would be hard.

"I think it would be very hard to finish my career without achieving those goals, so I really just want to give it my all, and hopefully in the years to come I'll be able to achieve that," Anisimova said

Anisimova said all she can do to achieve those goals is work hard and play her best.

"Yeah, just knowing that if I try my best and just keep playing that hopefully that will come one day. All I can really do is just work really hard every day and just do my best, and hopefully that will happen, and if it doesn't, at least at the end of the day I knew that I did all I could," she added .

Amanda Anisimova last competed at the 2024 Wuhan Open, where she advanced to the second round before withdrawing from the tournament due to an injury.
