Andre Agassi's son Jaden makes Pac-12 All-Conference baseball team, reacts to selection

Jaden Agassi is following in his father Andre Agassi's footsteps, albeit as a baseball player. The 22-year-old recently made the Pac-12 All-Conference team, representing Southern California.

Jaden is a regular starter for the University of Southern California's Trojans, where he plays as a pitcher. The youngster himself reacted to his selection to the All-Conference team by putting up a story on Instagram.

Jaden Agassi played 15 games for the Trojans in his 2022 sophomore year, striking out 38 batters and posting an ERA of 4.34.

Ahead of the start of the 2023 season, Agassi expressed his readiness for the new season, sharing a picture of himself with a focused look as he prepared to throw a pitch. His father, former ATP world No. 1 Andre Agassi, reacted to the youngster's post, adding a heart emoji to show support for his son.

The post also drew messages of support from four-time women's doubles Grand Slam champion Rennae Stubbs and top tennis coach Brad Gilbert.

Born to Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf, both of whom attained superstar status in professional tennis, Jaden decided to pursue baseball at an early age. He seems to be doing quite well for himself so far.

American tennis legend Andre Agassi retired from pro tennis in 2006.

Andre Agassi recently reflected on his tennis career, expressing gratitude for how it all went down despite the many challenges he faced along the way. Agassi said that his tennis career taught him a lot, and he specifically highlighted the importance of forming quality relationships along the journey.

"It's all sort of work together to really teach me a lot in life," Agassi said on the ATP Tennis Radio Podcast in December.

"I mean, I've really enjoyed these last 20 years even though there have been so many moments that were tougher than others," he added. "I think overall it's just the relationships you grow to love and miss the most."

Agassi has also been part of the tennis coaching scene post his retirement as a player in 2006. But he now seems to be giving more attention to baseball as his son enters a crucial phase of his career.

The eight-time Grand Slam singles champion recently suffered a personal loss with the passing of legendary tennis coach Nick Bollettieri, who was instrumental in Agassi's success.
