Tennis legends Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf's daughter Jaz recently shared a throwback picture of her mother from a practice session. The photo shows Graf in her prime, wearing Adidas clothing and holding a Dunlop racket.

Graf won 22 Grand Slams, including a Golden Slam in 1988, when she won all four Majors and the Olympic gold medal in Seoul in the same calendar year. Graf also holds the record for the most weeks at number one in the WTA rankings, with 377 weeks.

Jaz shared the vintage photo of her mother Steffi Graf on Friday, May 17, on her Instagram story. The photo was originally posted by an Instagram page that shares photos and videos of tennis players and equipment from the past and present, with a focus on the 80s and 90s.

Graf met her husband Andre Agassi at the 1992 Wimbledon Championships, where they both won the singles titles. They were formally introduced at the Wimbledon Ball, and Agassi later admitted that he had a crush on Graf since he first saw her on TV.

However, they did not start dating until 1999, after Agassi divorced his first wife Brooke Shields and Graf retired from professional tennis. They got married in 2001 in a private ceremony in Las Vegas, and have two children: Jaden, born in 2001, and Jaz, born in 2003.

Agassi and Graf’s children have pursued their own interests and passions outside of tennis. Jaden, a college baseball player, serves as a pitcher for the University of Southern California's team the Trojans. Jaz, on the other hand, is a fashion entrepreneur and a trained dancer.

Andre Agassi revealed that his children were initially surprised by his and Steffi Graf's fame. The couple stayed out of the spotlight since retiring, leaving their daughter Jaz and son Jaden puzzled when approached by fans.

Speaking during the Netflix Slam, the eight-time Grand Slam champion told People magazine that his kids saw them as parents first, not tennis stars, and only later understood their celebrity status.

“Somehow there's going to be this moment where they go, ‘These are my parents.’ So when people are coming up to us in grocery stores, [Jaden and Jaz] were like, ‘What's up with these people?’ So you go through a whole phase of them going, ‘Well, this makes no sense that the people are coming up as if there’s a big deal. And then they start to put together why it's a big deal," Andre Agassi said.

Agassi believes this has helped them maintain a healthy view of their parents' fame.

"They start to realize they're looking behind the Wizard of Oz curtain and they realize it's not all that. So there's a healthy balance that kind of is inevitable through the whole process,” Agassi added.

A movie about the tennis couple, titled 'Perfect Match,' will be released on Amazon Prime on June 28. The film, featuring Lena Klenke and Toby Sebastian as Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi, will offer a fictionalized account of their relationship.
