Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf’s son Jaden recently showcased his impressive pitching skills at a Florida training camp. Born in October 2001, Jaden is the first of the couple’s two children.
Despite being the son of two tennis legends with a combined 30 Grand Slam titles, Jaden decided to carve his own path in baseball, proudly carrying the Agassi name. On the other hand, his younger sister, Jaz, took an entirely different direction, distancing herself from sports. She forged her own identity as a celebrated dancer and fitness coach.
The 23-year-old spent three years playing for the University of Southern California’s (USC) Trojans before moving on to the Mahoning Valley Scrappers in the MLB Draft League, where he took on the role of a pitcher.
On Wednesday, January 8, Agassi shared an update on his impressive pitching performance at Cressey Sports Performance Florida's pitching ground through an Instagram story. In the post, he tagged Brian Parreira, an alum of the USCA baseball team and the hitting and catching coach at CSP Florida.
Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf's son Jaden reveals big baseball aspirations
Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf’s som Jaden is aiming to carve out his own legacy in baseball, just as his parents left their mark on tennis history.
Agassi and Graf are two of the most iconic names in tennis history. Agassi, with his eight Grand Slam titles, achieved the rare feat of completing a career Grand Slam.
Graf, renowned for her unparalleled athleticism and versatility, won an astounding 22 Grand Slam singles titles. She remains the only player ever to achieve the "Golden Slam," capturing all four majors and Olympic gold in the same year (1988). Together, they have made an enduring impact on the sport, both on and off the court.
In a June 2024 interview with WKBKN, Jaden expressed his goal to bring pride to the "Agassi" name in the world of baseball.
“That’s kind of the goal. Agassi is a very tennis last name, of course. The goal is to try to make it a baseball one.”
Although their son chose a different path in life, Agassi and Graf have always supported him every step of the way, as Jaden revealed:
“They help me out in so many ways I couldn’t even name, but they’re a great resource. They’ve been a huge help, absolutely.”
