Andy Murray's mother Judy hilariously shut down her 'third son' Duncan's idea of playing 'triples' at Wimbledon alongside his 'brothers'. Andy and Jamie have been awarded a wildcard for the gentlemen's doubles at Wimbledon in what may be the two-time singles champion's final outing.

Comedian Chris Forbes created a spoof video back in 2019, where he starred as the third Murray son Duncan, who was revealed to be bad at tennis and considered the black sheep of the Murray family. The video also starred Judy Murray, who calls Duncan a disappointment in the hilarious video.

The video went viral and several people believed it to be true, according to Forbes, which he found concerning yet sweet. In the video, 'Duncan' mentioned that Andy Murray was good at singles, and Jamie was good at doubles, so he felt he would be good at triples format.

The Brit, possibly in his final season, recently had surgery on a spinal cyst which jeopardized his chances of participation at Wimbledon this year. However, it was announced that he would participate in the gentlemen's doubles alongside his brother, Jamie Murray for the first time in SW19.

Forbes, who has an account on X (formerly Twitter) with the username 'The Other Murray Brother', said that this would be a great time to test out his idea of triples so that he could play alongside his brothers.

"If ever there was a time to try out my Triples idea, this is it!! We might not get another chance!!"

However, Judy hilariously shut down Duncan's proposal with an outright 'No', putting an end to his dreams.

In a recent conversation with BBC Sport, Andy Murray admitted that he would like to finish his career at Wimbledon or the Olympics as it would be more fitting.

"Probably if I was going to finish my career I would rather finish at Wimbledon or an Olympic Games - to me that would probably be more fitting," Murray said.

Murray, a two-time Wimbledon champion and the only man to win two Golds in singles at the Olympics, mentioned that a chance to play at his fifth Olympics in Paris motivated him to give him his 100%.

"I've had amazing experiences and memories from Wimbledon, but also being part of British Olympics teams. To get a chance to compete at a fifth one is a reason to stay motivated and continue playing. Like I said, a lot of it is based on results and physically how I'm feeling as well." he added.

After his campaign at Wimbledon, Andy Murray will head to Paris for the 2024 Olympic Games.
