Andy Roddick and Liam Broady heaped praise on comedian Jon Stewart after he called Oklahoma State Senator Nathan Dahm a hypocrite because of his views.

There has been a history of gun-related violence in the United States, especially in schools and academic institutions. Not long ago, there was a shooting at Michigan State University that resulted in the deaths of three people, as well as the perpetrator.

Jon Stewart spoke about gun violence with Nathan Dahm in the latest episode of his Apple TV+ series The Problem with Jon Stewart. The two debated the issue, with Dahm claiming that he was defending a person's right to carry firearms.

Stewart then retorted by saying that citizens of the United States had to register for the right to vote, thus questioning whether it was an infringement.

The comedian then spoke about Dahm and other Republicans wanting to stop children from watching drag shows, claiming that they were infringing on the performer's free speech. Dahm responded by saying that drag performers can exercise their free speech but not in front of children.

At this point, Stewart asked:

"What is the leading cause of death among children in this country?"

After Dahm admitted that it was firearms, the comedian called the state senator a hypocrite for having no problem with infringing freedom of speech when it came to children watching drag shows but not doing so when it came to possession of firearms.

"No, I'm not going to say it like it's an opinion. That's what it is. It's firearms. More than cancer, more than car accidents, and what you're telling me is you don't mind infringing free speech to protect children from this amorphous thing that you think of, but when it comes to children that have died, you don't give a flying f**k to stop that because that shall not be infringed. That is hypocrisy at its highest order," Stewart said.

Andy Roddick and Liam Broady hailed Stewart for the interview, with the former tweeting:

"I love Jon Stewart. Watch this."

Broady said that Stewart nailed the interview with the senator.

"Wow. Nail. On. Head," the Brit tweeted.

Sports statistician Jeff Sackmann said on a recent episode of the 'Court-Side with Beilinson Tennis' podcast that Andy Roddick might have won four Wimbledon titles and been in the GOAT debate had a certain Roger Federer not come along.

"In the way we're talking about it right now, he (Andy Roddick) is not in the GOAT debate and maybe he would have been if Federer had not come along when he did. Maybe he would have won four Wimbledons in a row," Jeff Sackmann said.

Even with the Swiss maestro around, Andy Roddick managed to win a Grand Slam at the 2003 US Open and was World No. 1 for a few weeks.
