Andy Roddick's wife, Brooklyn Decker, reacted to Nike's heartfelt farewell for Rafael Nadal after the Spaniard's retirement. His final match was at the Davis Cup Finals on November 19.

Nadal squared off against Botic van de Zandschulp and lost by a score of 6-4, 6-4. This was followed by Carlos Alcaraz giving fans some hope of seeing Rafa in action one more time on the court as he defeated Tallon Griekspoor 7-6 (7-0), 6-3 in the second singles match.

But in the deciding doubles match, Alcaraz and Marcel Granollers were bested by van de Zandschulp and Wesley Koolhof, which confirmed Spain's exit and Nadal's retirement.

Days after the Spaniard hung up his racquet, Nike shared a sweet and short farewell post for him on Instagram. Nadal's long-time sponsor shared a picture of him lying down on a clay court, and the caption read:

"Thank you for everything, @rafaelnadal"

Re-sharing this post on her Instagram stories, Andy Roddick's wife, Brooklyn Decker, reacted by writing:

Rafael Nadal opened up about his post-retirement concerns

Rafael Nadal announced his retirement on social media on October 10, stating that the Davis Cup Finals will be his final tournament. He opened up about his post-retirement concerns in a press conference after playing in his final match. He stated that he is not worried about what's next for him.

"I mean, I am not worried about the next chapter in my life. I have been always happy without tennis, and I had a lot of moments in my life that I was not able to play tennis because of injuries, so I spent a lot of months doing other things."
"But at the same time always accept the challenge of an important change in my life that for everyone, when you have important changes in your life, you need to accept the process and accept that the things at the beginning gonna be a little bit, I don't know if difficult, but different, and you need to respect the process, no? So I don't know how the things going to be."

Shortly after his retirement from tennis, Nadal competed in the FGB Hexagonal Golf Circuit at the Club de Golf Son Servera in the 38-year-old's hometown of Mallorca. He earned a top-10 finish at the event.
