Nick Kyrgios making a huge unsubstantiation claim calling Andy Roddick out for being a doper has left fans fuming. They have demanded the American to sue the Aussie for his comments.
A tennis fan called Andy Roddick out for his comments on the latest episode of Served with Andy Roddick, where the American said:
"So let's talk about the doping actually it's not even doping just contaminated substances and testing for a billionths of grams and some of the players chirping about these champions that will be hall of famers, when they've never put in 2 good days of work together simultaneously in their lives".
Another user questioned why Roddick was so pro-doping and hinted that he was a doper during his career.
"Why is Roddick so much pro doping in tennis!? What the hell!?With all the doping defending, one would've to think that Roddick must had a magical cream on his own during his playing career. There isn't any other logical explanation for such excessive doper a** kissing really."
Nick Kyrgios, who has had a war of words with the American in the past over Jannik Sinner's doping case, seconded this user's comments:
"Hahaha most likely."
Fans on X (formerly Twitter) were outraged by Kyrgios' claim. One fan demanded Andy Roddick to sue him.
"@andyroddick sue his a**," they demanded.
Another fan couldn't believe Kyrgios' words.
"You have to be a meme, it’s impossible to be like you for real xd," the fan wrote.
Here are some other reactions from the fans.
"Everyone judges based on what they would do. It only tells me that you’re a doper. The thief screams always the loudest to catch the thief. You’re such a L!" a fan quipped.
"@andyroddick Andy, what do you think about taking legal action?" a fan questioned.
"Maybe because Roddick understands the difference between doping and drug contamination, especially since the hair tests showed it was clean, so Iga had not taken any substances before," a fan opined.
"This is what you have reduced yourself to. Quoting posts of random X accounts. You know what's the difference between you and the current pros? They are not stuck on this platform like an obsessed person." a fan said.
"Andy Roddick took the side of corruption" - Nick Kyrgios continues attack on the American
The original tweet that posted Andy Roddick's quotes said how the American was being disrespectful towards the players who had called the ITIA out for their verdict.
"Very disrespectful how do you know that they don't put the hard work in? Which players are you referring too Andy?" the user questioned.
Nick Kyrgios responded how Andy Roddick had taken corruption's side in this debate.
"It’s just sad at this point. The guy is like a messenger to try and sweep everything under the rug. Haha he definitely took the side of corruption 😂 but I mean I’ve had a couple good days in a row 🤷🏽♂️," Kyrgios tweeted.
Amid his continuous opposition towards the ITIA verdicts of Iga Swiatek and Jannik Sinner, Andy Murray's former coach Mark Petchey urged the Aussie to stop his incessant attack on Jannik Sinner since the Italian had been proven not guilty.
