Georgios Frangulis, the Brazilian entrepreneur, founded Oakberry, a superfood brand focused on açaí products, in December 2016. The brand's flagship offering, açaí berries, is sourced from the Amazon rainforest.

The brand quickly rose to prominence with its açaí bowls and smoothies, expanding to over 700 locations across more than 40 countries. Sabalenka has shown strong support for her boyfriend’s venture, partnering with Oakberry as an ambassador and creating her own signature açaí bowl for the company.

Aryna Sabalenka is set to start her 2025 season at the Brisbane International in Australia. The Belarusian will begin her campaign by facing Mexico's Renata Zarazua on December 31.

At a pre-tournament press conference on Saturday, December 28, Sabalenka was asked how she felt returning to a country where she has already claimed two Grand Slam titles, in 2023 and 2024.

Sabalenka shared her excitement about returning to Australia, and said the warm welcome she receives always makes her feel at home. She said,

“Yeah, I have a lot of great memories from Australia. I'm super excited to be back. Always feels like home here. Love the support. Yeah, I love the atmosphere here in Australia. I hope it's going to keep working well for me.”

When asked about aiming for her third consecutive Australian Open title, a feat last achieved by Martina Hingis between 1997 and 1999, she replied that her focus would remain on her performance rather than setting herself up for “an incredible goal.”

“I mean, it's little bit cool to achieve such an incredible goal, dream of so many young players. But once again, I think I better focus on myself. If I'll be able to bring my best tennis, I know that I'm able to do that. But yeah, I prefer to stay focused on myself."

After participating in the Brisbane International, Aryna Sabalenka will head to the Melbourne Slam, which is set to take place from 12-26 January, 2025.
