Aryna Sabalenka and Jannik Sinner showcased custom Nike jackets during the 2025 Australian Open draw ceremony. The World No. 1s placed their trophies down as they prepared to begin their title defenses.

At the 2025 Australian Open draw ceremony, held on Thursday, January 9, Nike-sponsored athletes Sabalenka and Sinner made a stylish statement with their custom-designed jackets. Both athletes showcased unique personal touches on their outerwear.

Jannik Sinner, often nicknamed "The Fox" sported a jacket featuring an animated fox motif on the chest. The design also included an endearing paw print detail on the sleeve, further embracing his signature theme.

On the other hand, Aryna Sabalenka chose a more minimalist approach with her jacket design. The clean white outerwear prominently displayed her first name, "Aryna," elegantly written in cursive on the front, alongside the iconic Nike logo.

"To be back here, and to walk here with this beautiful trophy as the two-time defending champion is definitely something special," Sabalenka said during the ceremony. "I really hope that I can keep doing what I'm doing here in Australia."
"Melbourne, it’s a very nice tournament, beautiful people,” Sinner said at the draw ceremony. "It’s called the Happy Slam so we are all very happy to be back here and hopefully all the players we can show some good tennis, which I think is the most important part."

Top seed Jannik Sinner was drawn against Nicolas Jarry in an exciting first-round battle. The 29-year-old Chilean, unseeded this year, was seeded 18th last time at the Melbourne Slam.

The competitors have met twice before on tour and have split their head-to-head record. The World No. 1 won their latest battle in Beijing 4-6, 6-3, 6-1.

In the women's section, Aryna Sabalenka was drawn against 2017 US Open champion Sloane Stephens. This will be their fifth battle on tour and Sabalenka will be the favorite considering Stephens' form and her 4-0 record over her.

The Belarusian will be hoping to etch her name in history by winning a hat-trick of Australian Open titles, a feat achieved by only five other women in the Open Era.

"[Winning three in a row] would be huge, but I have to focus on myself ... bring my best tennis every time I'm out there, and to hopefully put my name next to those legends," she said at the draw.

The days and timing of the first-round matches will be released in due time. The main draw of the event is scheduled to begin on Sunday, January 12.
