Aryna Sabalenka hilariously delighted the crowd after her straight-set win against home favorite Emma Navarro in the semifinals of the 2024 US Open. She jokingly kept her promise to the crowd and offered them "marg-Arynas" in return for their support during her match against the American.

Sabalenka has made it to back-to-back finals at the New York Major. The Belarusian has been in scintillating form at the tournament, ousting the likes of Priscilla Hon, Lucia Bronzetti, Ekaterina Alexandrova, Elise Mertens, and Zheng Qinwen to reach the final four.

The World No.2 defeated Emma Navarro 6-3, 7-6(2) to make it to the final, where she will face either Karolina Muchova or Jessica Pegula. After her quarterfinal win, Sabalenka had joked that she would offer drinks to the crowds in order to gain their support against Navarro, the home favorite.

The World No. 2 was interviewed by Pam Shriver after beating Navarro, and was asked if she was aware of the number of consecutive first serves she and Navarro managed. Sabalenka didn't understand the question initially.

"I wanna see how aware you are of something in the second set. Do you wanna take a guess at how many consecutive first serves? You both made over many service games? You want to take a guess?"
"Like the percentage you mean?" The Belarusian asked.

Shriver reiterated the question and then joked about how one could legally drink in America with the number if it was their age, which was 21. Sabalenka, surprised, felt that Navarro contributed to the major chunk of it.

"No, how many in a row first serves in between both of you put it this way. You'd be legal to drink in this country with this number 21 straight first serves. How and yeah, exactly," Shriver questioned.
"Probably she made it on me.It didn't feel that way. But wow, that's a great stat. And I'm gonna, and keep focusing on that and keep staying positive," The World No. 2 said.

Shriver hilariously segued into the Belarusian's offer to the crowd, which was made after the quarterfinal win, asking her if they were getting free drinks. Aryna Sabalenka joked that they would be getting marg-Aryna from Dobel Tequila, a brand she is partnered with.

"But while we're on the age of 21 you did make a commitment the other day that if the crowd helped you a little bit. So, is there anybody getting free drinks tonight?" Shriver asked.
"So guys, marg-’Aryna’ for everyone from Dobel Tequila. You're welcome," Aryna Sabalenka said.

While speaking to Tennis Channel after her 2024 Cincinnati Open triumph, Aryna Sabalenka was asked what her celebration plans were. She responded by joking that she was getting old and hence did not celebrate her wins with sweets. The Belarusian then joked about where Dobel Tequila was and told everyone that they should try marg-Arynas, which was the best drink.

"You know, I'm getting old. There is no more sweets. Where is Dobel Tequila? You got to try marg-Aryna. That's, that's the best drink. You have to drink marg-Aryna," she humorously revealed.

In her post-match press conference, she described the taste of the drink calling it her 'treat' after her wins.

Aryna Sabalenka will next compete in the US Open women's final, which will take place on September 7.
