Sharing a year-end Instagram post on Wednesday, Aryna Sabalenka included photos with her boyfriend Frangulis, her team, tiger portraits, and one showing her holding Frangulis' hand while wearing the ring.
When a fan asked if she was engaged, the 26-year-old responded:
"No, guys, it’s just a beautiful ring, we are not engaged 🙈."
Sabalenka had arrived in Brisbane, Australia, to kick off her 2025 season as World No. 1 a few days ago. Ahead of her matches, the Belarusian spent time exploring the city with Frangulis, and the couple enjoyed a glamorous date night.
The 26-year-old had donned an olive midi dress paired with a Loro Piana bag and Audemars Piguet watch. However, fans were quick to notice two sparkling rings on her left hand, sparking speculation about a possible engagement. For days, the speculation made rounds before Sabalenka quashed it on New Year's Day.

"Where did I end up? Who not to offend? So what is more important to me? My favorite fans or my boyfriend. Well, fans will understand, will not judge, will wait. Probably Instagram for a month," she said, confident that her followers would be supportive.
