Aryna Sabalenka recently teased her hitting partner, Andrei Vasilveski, for looking like a kid during her return to off-season training. The Belarusian player concluded her 2024 season after competing at the WTA Finals.
Here, Sabalenka reached the semifinals before losing to eventual champion Coco Gauff. The 26-year-old, however, cemented her status at the year-end World No. 1.
Sabalenka frequently shares updates about her team and her hitting partner, Vasilevski, on social media and recently shared a story on her Instagram, teasing the latter. She shared a picture of him using an Insta X camera while they return for their off-season training and wrote:
"Andrei is that you? or 15 y.o boy?"

Earlier this year, Aryna Sabalenka shared an adorable picture of Vasilevski's daughter holding her Australian Open trophy. The Belarusian and her team were celebrating her win, and during this, the player shared the picture on her Instagram story, where the little girl was seen wearing cute pink co-ord sets and was holding a handle of the trophy. She added the caption:

Aryna Sabalenka gave a shoutout to her team while giving her victory speech following her win at the Australian Open. She thanked her team and joked about how they have done a better job as compared to the 2024 Brisbane International final, where she was bested by Elena Rybakina.
"Team, wow. You see guys, I put a little bit of pressure on them after Brisbane final. And we did a little bit better in this one. But yeah, thank you so much for being by my side no matter what," Aryna Sabalenka
She also added:
"I think I have everything, I mean I forgot what I wanted to say… But without you, I wouldn't be able to achieve so much in this sport. Thank you so much for everything you're doing for me. I'll just keep repeating the same that I'm saying on each speech. So thank you so much for everything you've done for me. I mean without me you wouldn’t be that good as well you know. Like let's accept that fact."
Before this, Sabalenka jokingly blamed her team for her loss at the Brisbane International final and said:
"Couple of words to my team. You did a bad job today. Wow. 6-0, 6-3. That's all your fault guys."
Sabalenka had an incredible 2024 season, during which, she won the US Open, in addition to her Australian Open triumph. The Belarusian also clinched two WTA 1000 titles in Cincinnati and Wuhan.
