ATP rankings update: Novak Djokovic inches closer to Steffi Graf's record, Dallas Open champion Wu Yibing and Taylor Fritz reach career-high rankings

The most recent set of ATP rankings have been released and there haven't been too many notable shake-ups.

Novak Djokovic remains the World No. 1 and has started his 376th week at the top of the rankings. The Serb inches ever closer to breaking Steffi Graf's record for the most number of weeks for any tennis player, male or female, as the World No. 1.

The German was at the top for a total of 377 weeks and Djokovic has a very good chance of surpassing her by the end of the month, considering the number of points World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz has to defend.

There is only one change in the Top 10 of the ATP rankings, with Taylor Fritz moving up a spot to a career-best seventh. The American recently competed at the Dallas Open, where he reached the semifinals before losing to eventual champion Wu Yibing. Felix Auger-Aliassime lost 455 points and as a result, dropped to eighth in the rankings.

Jannik Sinner climbed three spots to 14th in the ATP rankings following his triumph in Montpellier. The Italian won the Open Sud de France without dropping a single set, beating Maxime Cressy 7-6(3), 6-3 in the final. He previously defeated Lorenzo Sonego and Arthur Fils in the quarterfinals and semifinals, respectively.

Sinner's exploits in Montpellier saw Frances Tiafoe, Pablo Carreno Busta and Alexander Zverev all drop a place.

Sebastian Baez won his second ATP singles title at the Cordoba Open by beating compatriot Federico Coria 6-1, 3-6, 6-3 in the final. The 22-year-old subsequently climbed 11 places up to 36th in the rankings. Coria's run in Cordoba saw him jump 18 spots up to 49th.

Wu Yibing reaches career-high ATP ranking following Dallas Open victory

Wu Yibing made history in Dallas as he became the first Chinese man to ever win a title on the ATP Tour. The 23-year-old won the Dallas Open by beating John Isner 6-7(4), 7-6(3), 7-6(12) to win his maiden singles title.

He started the tournament by beating Michael Mmoh 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 before stunning third seed Denis Shapovalov 7-6(1), 6-4. He then beat Adrian Mannarino 6-3, 6-4 before scripting arguably the upset of the competition by defeating top seed Taylor Fritz 6-7(3), 7-5, 6-4.

The 23-year-old had to save four championship points against Isner before beating him in the final. The Chinese's run in Dallas saw him climb 39 spots up to a career-best 58th in the ATP rankings. Wu jumped higher than any other player in the Top 100 in the latest set of rankings released.
