Day 2 of the ASB Classic will commence on December 31, with several seeded players in action. The opening day of the main draw saw Naomi Osaka start her season with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Lina Glushko. The likes of Ann Li, Julia Grabher and Katie Volynets also won their first-round matches in Auckland.
A total of 11 matches will take place on the second day of the WTA 250 event, eight in singles and three in doubles. Top seed Madison Keys will look to book her place in the second round of the tournament when she takes on Lucia Bronzetti, while third seed Amanda Anisimova will face Alycia Parks.
One fixture to look out for is between sixth seed Emma Raducanu and Robin Montgomery. It will be the Brit's first match of the 2025 season.
