Day 4 of the ASB Classic 2025 in Auckland will bring the second round to a close. Naomi Osaka booked her place in the quarterfinals with a 7-5, 6-3 win over Julia Grabher to begin the new year on a high note. Bernarda Pera was the other player to seal her spot in the last eight after beating Rebecca Marino in straight sets.

More players will aim to join them on Thursday. Top seed Madison Keys will take on Jaqueline Cristian. The American lost to the latter when they last crossed paths in Charleston less than a year ago, and will be keen to avoid the same fate once again. She is also one of the few seeded players still left in the draw.

Keys' compatriots Alycia Parks, Robin Montgomery, and Hailey Baptiste will also be in action in singles on Thursday. While Sloane Stephens failed to get past the first round in singles, her campaign is still going strong in doubles. She has teamed up with Clara Tauson here, and the duo will take to the court for their second-round match as well.
