Belinda Bencic recently gave her longtime boyfriend Martin Hromkovic a heads-up about the upcoming Thanksgiving shopping boxes in a hilarious fashion. It seems that the Swiss has gone all out to make the most of the Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals.
Bencic began dating Hromkovic, a former Slovak professional footballer, in November 2018 and the couple has been together since. The Slovak is also a part of the Swiss tennis player's team as her fitness coach. The couple welcomed their first child on April 23rd this year and named their daughter Bella.
Thanksgiving is a time when people go all out shopping thanks to the array of sales offers. One of those avid shoppers seems to have been Belinda Bencic, who took to Instagram to share a hilarious meme where she playfully cautioned her boyfriend about the shopping she had done during the festive season.
The meme showed a bird comically trying to block another bird's view, preventing it from seeing whatever was behind the dancing bird.
"Distracting my husband from all the boxes that just showed up after shopping all the Black Friday and Ciber Monday deals," the meme showed.
Hromkovic had earlier shared an adorable photo of Bencic and Bella from their kitchen, where they seemed to be getting ready for a meal. While the Swiss smiled at the camera, the adorable little Bella had her eyes on her mother.
"My partner is incredible, he's doing a really great job" - Belinda Bencic on boyfriend Martin Hromkovic's support during her return after Bella's birth
Belinda Bencic returned to tennis at the ITF Germany 16A in Humburg, six months after welcoming Bella to the world. She mentioned how her boyfriend Martin Hromkovic has been 'incredible' while learning how he can help Bencic reach the upper echelons of the tennis world again.
"Martin learned a lot about the new topic, how to start, with pelvic floor exercises, abdominal and back exercises, to progress step by step. I enjoy the process and feel very good because I'm improving every day. My partner is incredible, he's doing a really great job. We're a good team," she said during an interview with tennis.com.
Belinda Bencic further explained why she had decided on an ITF tournament for her return. She elaborated:
"I wanted to start at a lower-level category than the ones I usually play. I don't feel ready to start at such a high level yet."
Bencic did reach the final of the WTA 125 Angers in singles and doubles. However, she ended up on the losing side in both events.
