Thanasi Kokkinakis recently took a moment away from tennis to commend a major achievement for the wrestling industry. In a social media post, the ATP player expressed enthusiasm for the recent partnership between WWE and Netflix. The deal will allow millions of people from all over the world to enjoy wrestling events on demand.

The WWE produces weekly television shows in which the company's Superstars depict storylines on the screen. The recent contract with Netflix will allow the entire world to enjoy wrestling content both live and on demand. Making WWE action available to millions worldwide seems like a good idea to Kokkinakis.

"Best thing @NetflixANZ did was add @WWE," Kokkinakis wrote on X.

Kokkinakis has called WWE's presence on Netflix "the best thing" the streaming platform has done. The fact that the wrestling company's program will now be available on demand thanks to Netflix means that Thanasi Kokkinakis will be able to enjoy the shows from anywhere in the world while he plays on the ATP Tour.

Being a professional tennis player requires him to travel to events such as Wimbledon and the U.S. Open, making it harder for him to catch up with most things related to pop culture. But with WWE on Netflix, the Aussie won't miss a minute of WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and other action-packed events.

Like every other player on the ATP Tour, Thanasi Kokkinakis is getting ready for the start of the Australian Open. The first Grand Slam of the season will allow players to place their names in the history books. The local player lost in the second round of the tournament last year against Grigor Dimitrov.

After losing to Dimitrov in the second round of the Australian Open, Kokkinakis went on to play at Delray Beach and Los Cabos. Some of his biggest victories from last year came in the form of reaching the third round at the French Open and winning a couple of events on the Challenger tour.

The biggest matches of Thanasi Kokkinakis' career were the finals of the 2017 edition of the Los Cabos Open and the 2022 edition of the Adelaide International 2. While he lost to Sam Querrey in the former, he managed to triumph over Arthur Rinderknech in the latter. This year could prove to be a significant one for the young player, with the start of a new season bringing the promise of limitless potential for every player on the tour.
