Bianca Andreescu hilariously reacts to Jessica Pegula, Sebastian Korda & Tommy Paul having the same "boring" pre-match meal as her

Bianca Andreescu had a funny reaction to Jessica Pegula, Sebastian Korda and Tommy Paul all having the same pre-match meal as her. The players were questioned about their dining habits during the 2024 Libema Open.

Andreescu and Korda both finished as the runner-up in the 's-Hertogenbosch tournament after losing to Liudmila Samsonova and Alex de Minaur in their respective finals. Jessica Pegula, who was making her return to the court after missing the clay season, made it to the second round before falling to Aleksandra Krunic.

Tommy Paul, on the other hand, reached the quarterfinals of the Libema Open before losing to Sebastian Korda.

During a promotional shoot for the grass-court event in 's-Hertogenbosch, Bianca Andreescu, Jessica Pegula, Sebastian Korda, and Tommy Paul were all asked to share their go-to meals before a match. All four players mentioned that they would eat a meal of chicken and rice.

"It's pretty boring, it's just basically chicken and rice," Paul said.

"Boring, like chicken and rice," Pegula said.

Only Andreescu and Korda added that they would also include some vegetables in their pre-match meal.

"I'd stick with chicken, rice and vegetables," Andreescu answered.

"Chicken and rice, and some sort of vegetables," Korda said.

The official social media account of the Libema Open shared the video of the players naming their go-to pre-match meal.

"I think we found the key to becoming a pro player.. 🍗 🍚 🥦 ," the Libema Open captioned their Instagram post.

Bianca Andreescu, amused by the similar responses, took to her social media and re-shared the video and added two laughing emojis.

" 😂 😂 ," Andreescu captioned her Instagram story.

Bianca Andreescu and Sebastian Korda both suffered final defeats at the Libema Open

Both Bianca Andreescu and Sebastian Korda reached the final of the 2024 Libema Open.

Andreescu, who received a wildcard entry into the main draw, kicked off her campaign in s-Hertogenbosch defeating qualifier Eva Vedder 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 and sixth seed Yuan Yue 6-4, 6-4 in the first and second rounds respectively. She then defeated Naomi Osaka 6-4, 3-6, 7-6(3) in the quarterfinals and qualifier Dalma Galfi 6-4, 6-2 in the semifinals.

Despite a valiant effort in the championship match, Bianca Andreescu fell to Liudmila Samsonova 4-6, 6-3, 7-5, who claimed her fifth WTA Tour title and second title on grass.

Meanwhile, Sebastian Korda was seeded seventh in the tournament. He began his campaign by defeating qualifier Tristan Schoolkate 6-4, 7-6(4) before triumphing 7-5, 7-5 over Luca Nardi 7-5, 7-5 in the second round.

The American then went on to overcome compatriot Tommy Paul 6-4, 6-2 and sixth seed and defending champion Tallon Griekspoor 6-2, 6-4 in the quarterfinals and semifinals, respectively.

However, Korda faced a tough challenge in the final against top seed Alex de Mianur, who defeated him 6-2, 6-4 to secure his ninth ATP Tour title.
