Former World No. 1 Boris Becker and Serena Williams' former coach Rennae Stubbs reacted to Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz traveling together to Shanghai for the Shanghai Masters. This happened shortly after the two fought out an enthralling final at the China Open, that lasted three hours and 24 minutes.

Alcaraz produced a fine performance and he came back from a set down to beat Sinner 6-7(8), 6-4, 7-6(3) and register his third successive win over the Italian. The Spaniard thus took a 6-4 lead in their head-to-head and clinched his fourth title of the 2024 season.

After their exciting final in Beijing, the two 2024 Grand Slam winners took the same flight to travel to Shanghai, where they are both set to compete at the Shanghai Masters.

In a post shared on X(formerly Twitter), Alcaraz and Sinner were seen posing for a picture alongside sports physiotherapist Ulises Badio, and coach Marco Panichi.

The picture attracted reactions from many, with former World No. 1 Boris Becker saying:

"The best picture," the German wrote.

Serena Williams' former coach Rennae Stubbs chimed in to laud both Alcaraz and Sinner, writing:

"And then they all went to Shanghai! lol love these two."

Alcaraz's China Open win made him the first winner of ATP 500 titles on all three surfaces since the launch of the series in 2006.

Speaking after his China Open triumph, Alcaraz praised Sinner for his mastery on the court and called him a 'beast'.

"Jannik, once again, he showed that he’s the best player in the world, at least for me. The level that he’s playing, it’s unbelievable. It’s a really high quality of tennis. Of shots, physically, mentally, he’s a beast," the 21-year-old said.

Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz will both start their respective campaigns at the Shanghai Masters in the second round. The Italian will face Taro Daniel, with the winner facing either 31st seed Tomas Martin Etcheverry or Botic van de Zandschulp in the third round.

Alcaraz will face Shang Juncheng and whoever out of the two comes out on topm will take on either Nicolas Jarry or Wu Yibing in the third round of the Shanghai Masters.
