Martina Navratilova and her wife Julia Lemigova, who tied the knot in 2014, adopted two sons earlier this year. In a recent interview with People, Lemigova disclosed that the former World No. 1 was "loving" motherhood and enthusiastically embracing the responsibility of making their sons breakfast and taking them to school.

"[Martina Navratilova] loves it. She's making pancakes in the morning, taking them to school. She's so energized. When we first got them, we thought we are saving them, but in reality, we're both saving each other," Lemigova said.

Although Lemigova admitted that she was "sleep-deprived," she emphasized the immense joy she felt over the "intense and incredible" three months they had experienced as a family.

"I'm sleep-deprived but so happy. It's becoming a reality because it's only been three months, but it's been a very intense, loving, incredible, three months," she added.

Julia Lemigova, who has two daughters from previous relationships, also expressed delight at being a new mother after she and Navratilova had become used to living like "empty nesters."
