Canadian Open Prize Money Breakdown: How much did 2024 champion Jessica Pegula and runner-up Amanda Anisimova earn?

Jessica Pegula emerged victorious in the all-American showdown at the 2024 Canadian Open, defeating Amanda Anisimova in the final to successfully defend her WTA 1000 title. Both players will earn big for their exploits in Toronto, with the tournament offering a total prize pool of $3,211,715.

Pegula clinched her third WTA 1000 title and second title of the season in commanding fashion at the Canadian Open, claiming an impressive 6-3, 2-6, 6-1 win over her compatriot. The World No. 6's triumph will see her earn $523,485, while Anisimova will receive $308,320.

Emma Navarro and Diana Shnaider were knocked out in the semifinals and will each take home $159,944. Meanwhile, second seed Aryna Sabalenka, Taylor Townsend, Peyton Stearns and Liudmila Samsonova will each earn $72,965 for their runs to the quarterfinals in Toronto.

Top seed Coco Gauff, Elise Mertens, Ashlyn Krueger, Victoria Azarenka, Marta Kostyuk, fourth seed Jelena Ostapenko, Anna Kalinskaya and Katie Boulter will each take home $36,454 for their third-round finishes.

Players who were eliminated in the second round, including the likes of fifth seed Daria Kasatkina, Paula Badosa, Elina Svitolina, seventh seed Madison Keys, Leylah Fernandez and Naomi Osaka, will each receive $20,650. Meanwhile, Ons Jabeur, Sloane Stephens and the other players who were ousted in the first round will each earn $14,800.

Even the players who did not reach the main draw at the Canadian Open will be rewarded for their campaigns, with players who lost in the second qualifying round earning $8,800 and those who were defeated in the first round of qualifiers taking home $4,610.

Top seeds Erin Routliffe and Gabriela Dabrowski will take on No. 3 seeds Caroline Dolehide and Desirae Krawczyk in the women's doubles final at the 2024 Canadian Open. The winners of the blockbuster title clash will earn a whopping $154,160, while the losing pair will take home $86,710.

Leylah Fernadez and her sister Bianca Fernandez, as well as seventh seeds Sofia Kenin and Bethanie Mattek-Sands, who were eliminated in the semifinals, will each pocket $46,570.

Ariana Arseneault and Mia Kupres, Kristina Mladenovic and Zhang Shuai, Jessica Pegula and Giuliana Olmos, and Wu Fang-sien and Jiang Xinyu will each earn $24,090 for their runs to the quarterfinals of the WTA 1000 event.

Second seeds Jelena Ostapenko and Lyudmyla Kichenok and the other pairs that were ousted in the second round will receive $13,650, while those that were knocked out in the first round will each be paid $9,100.
