Carlos Alcaraz had a hilarious response to Grigor Dimitrov asking him if he could use the Spaniard's discount at Louis Vuitton. The 21-year-old was recently involved in a fun segment conducted by the ATP Tour where other players asked Alcaraz some questions. The segment featured Dimitrov, Holger Rune, Alex de Minaur, and Casper Ruud, among others.
The World No. 3 is a house ambassador for the popular luxury fashion brand Louis Vuitton. As a brand representative, Alcaraz promotes the company in his home nation, Spain, and has been involved in their projects since the time the two parties joined hands.
During ATP's recent Q&A session with the Spaniard, Dimitrov asked Alcaraz if he could use his discount at Louis Vuitton.
"So Carlos, I have a question for you and I actually wanted to ask you if I can use your discount at Louis Vuitton?"
The Spaniard said though he would love to give the Bulgarian a discount, he himself didn't have any discount to offer and apologized to Dimitrov.
"I would love to give you a discount at Louis Vuitton, but I don't have any. So I'm sorry, I'm sorry Grigor."
Carlos Alcaraz and Grigor Dimitrov will soon be teammates at the 2024 Laver Cup in Berlin, which begins on 20 September.
Holger Rune, Casper Ruud, and Alex de Minaur also ask Carlos Alcaraz fun questions
Holger Rune asked Carlos Alcaraz how frequently he lifted weights in order to get the biceps he had. The Spaniard replied that he didn't lift weights frequently, only two to three times a week during his practice sessions.
"Uhh… Honestly, not too much. Depends… But in a practice week, twice or three times a week. Yeah, probably those days. That's a good one," he said.
Casper Ruud asked Carlos Alcaraz what his dream golf team would be. Alcaraz responded by saying that he would want Jon Rahm and Rafael Nadal on his team. He apologized to Ruud for not including him.
"Probably my partner could be, Jon Rahm. I have to go with him If I have to choose tennis player, I would choose, Rafa Nadal. So, sorry Casper," he said.
Meanwhile, Alex de Minaur wanted to know the four-time Grand Slam champion's all-time favorite match point save. He had a smile on his face, which helped Carlos Alcaraz understand what the Aussie was implying because it was against him that the Spaniard produced his favorite match point save.
"I can see that smile from Alex. Without a doubt, against you in Barcelona. 15-40, 6-5, second set. I can't still believe on that day I made that shot. So I have to say sorry about it. But, yeah, it was, it was that point, that one," Alcaraz said in response.
Alcaraz is currently competing at the 2024 Davis Cup and has helped Team Spain advance to the Final 8 of the competition.
