Carlos Alcaraz divulged his plans for his upcoming tattoo ahead of his 2024 Paris Masters campaign. The Spaniard also excitedly showed off his Eiffel Tower tattoo, which he got after his triumph at the French Open this year.

Whenever Alcaraz has clinched a Grand Slam, he has gifted himself a tattoo to commemorate the milestone. His tattoos are often awaited by tennis fans with bated breath.

While interacting with the media ahead of his Paris Masters campaign, Carlos Alcaraz was asked if he would add any embellishments to his Eiffel Tower tattoo if he won the Paris Masters. The Spaniard got the popular Paris monument inked on his left ankle, along with the date on which he achieved the feat, 9th June 2024.

The 21-year-old said that he only got tattoos when he won a Grand Slam, so any new tattoo after a Paris Masters win was out of the question.

"Uh No. I mean, I'm not. I don't think that I'm gonna have another tattoo or I said, if I win, you know, the first Grand Slams, you know, when I won the US Open, Wimbledon, Roland Garros, of course."

The Spaniard also mentioned the tattoos symbolized his first triumph at the particular Major. Hence, he didn't get a new tattoo after winning his second Wimbledon.

The World No. 2 also revealed that his next tattoo would hopefully come after he clinches his maiden Australian Open. After this, he excitedly showed off his Eiffel Tower to the reporter.

"But not second Wimbledon, I didn't, I didn't put a tattoo on it. So, hopefully Australian Open is gonna be the next one."
"But uh yeah, it's here. It's a nice tattoo with the date obviously. So, hopefully, Australian Open is gonna be the next. (smiles)"

Carlos Alcaraz has a CCC tattoo near his right elbow, which he got after winning the US Open, and the date of his Wimbledon triumph inked on his right ankle alongside a strawberry.

The Spaniard didn't get a tattoo to celebrate his second-place finish at the Paris Olympics as he failed to win the Gold.

Carlos Alcaraz, seeded second, received a bye in the opening round of the 2024 Paris Masters. The Spaniard will be facing Nicolas Jarry to kick off his campaign. The Chilean defeated qualifier Lorenzo Sonego 7-6(4), 6-3.

The two men have faced each other three times, with Alcaraz currently leading 2-1. However, it was Jarry who defeated the Spaniard, who was the defending champion, in straight sets in their most recent meeting in Buenos Aires.

The winner of their match will play either 15th seed and home favorite Ugo Humbert or qualifier Marcos Giron in the third round.
