Alcaraz faced the World No. 4 Alexander Zverev in the finals of the French Open 2024, beating the German in a five-set thriller 6-3, 2-6, 5-7, 6-1, 6-2. This French Open victory also made the 21-year-old Alcaraz the youngest man to claim Grand Slam Titles on all 3 surfaces in the Open Era.

The Spaniard then participated in the 2024 Wimbledon and won his 2nd title on Centre Court by defeating 24-time Grand Slam winner Novak Djokovic in a dominant performance, in what was also his second consecutive victory over the Serb in Wimbledon finals.
