Tennis legend Boris Becker recently expressed his amazement at the striking resemblance between the forehand techniques of Carlos Alcaraz and his 13-year-old brother Jamie. A video of Jamie showcasing his powerful forehand in a practice session caught Becker’s attention.

Carlos Alcaraz has three brothers: Alvaro, Sergio, and Jamie. While Alvaro and Sergio have shown interest in tennis, it is Jamie who has recently caught the spotlight with his uncanny similarity to Carlos in terms of technique and style. Jamie won the Rafa Nadal Tour in the U-12 category and the Under-12 National Team Championship last year.

The video of Jamie's practice session was shared on X (formerly Twitter), drawing attention from fans and experts alike. Becker reacted to the video, writing:

"The younger brother of Carlos is playing his identical forehand….OMG."

In an interview with ABC Sports in July 2024, Carlos Alcaraz discussed his bond with his three brothers—Alvaro, Sergio, and Jaime. The Spaniard shared that they take pride in his achievements, seeing his successes as their own.

Alcaraz noted that his younger brothers, Sergio and Jaime, view him as a protective older sibling, not as a famous tennis star.

"I think they enjoy watching me. They feel my achievements are theirs . They support me every day . They see me as the older brother, not as the famous tennis player who has been number 1 or who has won Grand Slams, but as the older brother who has to take care of them," (translated from Spanish).

Speaking about his older brother Alvaro, Alcaraz expressed gratitude for the love and support he receives, adding that what he values most is their ability to see him as the same person and brother, not just a celebrated athlete.

"And Alvaro sees me as the little brother that I am. That is nice and that is what I want from them, that they do not see me as the tennis player but as the person and the brother that I always am," he added.

Fresh off his quarterfinal run at the 2024 Shanghai Masters, Carlos Alcaraz has been competing in the "Six Kings Slam" exhibition in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, alongside Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Jannik Sinner, Holger Rune, and Daniil Medvedev.

The World No. 2 eased past Holger Rune 6-4, 6-2 in the quarterfinals and will take on compatriot Rafael Nadal in the semifinals. The winner of this match will face either Novak Djokovic or Jannik Sinner in the Grand Final on October 19.
