Caroline Wozniacki and David Lee, both former athletes, married in 2019. They have two children together, three-year-old Olivia, and two-year-old James. Wozniacki, a tennis star, and Lee, a former NBA player, often share glimpses of their family life on social media.
Wozniacki recently shared heartwarming holiday moments of her children on social media, capturing their joy as they smiled in cozy outfits while playing in the snow. She also posted a humorous Christmas mishap, where her son James was visibly upset on Santa Claus' lap for the second year in a row.
Wozniacki captioned the post:
"Merry Christmas from our family to yours! Maybe next year Santa won’t seem so scary 🤪 😂 (second picture is from last year)"
Caroline Wozniacki opens up about balancing motherhood with tennis after returning to tour
After retiring from tennis following the 2020 Australian Open, where she claimed two titles, Caroline Wozniacki made a return to the sport in 2023, competing during the North American hardcourt swing. Her comeback after the birth of her two children, during the 2024 US Open, reflected on the challenges of balancing motherhood and her career on tour. Wozniacki shared:
"I try to make sure that I am still there as 100% present mom while I’m also trying to balance, you know, being the best tennis player that I possibly can be. I think that’s where sometimes it can get a little tricky. Obviously, my family is the most important thing to me, but at the same time, I love winning."
Wozniacki also discussed the difference between being married and becoming a mother. While happily married, she explained that marriage does not alter the way she prepares for practice, matches, or rest days. However, having children has changed everything:
"My kids are there every single day, and I really appreciate it. It's the best job in the world, and I love it."
World No. 70 played almost 30 matches this season and finished with a 16-13 win-loss record. She will be competing at the Australian Open next month after confirming her entry.
