Coco Gauff receives appreciation from ATP player Chris Eubanks
Coco Gauff's compatriot and ATP player, Chris Eubanks, this week shared hs predictions for Gauff in the 2025 season, speaking on the "Tennis Channel" podcast. He lauded Gauff's skills and said she has the potential to achieve the World No. 1 ranking. He said,
"We seen so much greatness from her at such a young age, I think it’s safe to say that she will become world number one. I think although it’s a big points deficit, I think she can do it next year. Not just because of what I’ve seen from her at the end of last year at the WTA Finals, having to go through a gauntlet to take that title, but also look at history here. Her highest ranking in 2021 was 19, 2022 was four in the world, her highest ranking in 2023 was three in the world, the highest ranking in 2024 was two in the world."
Coco Gauff recently reached Perth with Taylor Fritz, with both set to represent the USA at the United Cup. The duo were welcomed with stuffed toys. The 20-year-old has won a total of 19 titles in her tennis career.
