Coco Gauff & brother dress up as iconic Deadpool & Wolverine duo for Halloween; American recreates NSYNC's 'Bye Bye Bye' discography from Marvel movie

Coco Gauff and her brother Cameron celebrated Halloween this year by dressing up as the iconic duo of Deadpool and Wolverine. In addition to their creative costumes, Gauff also showed off her dance skills by recreating NSYNC's 'Bye Bye Bye' choreography from a Marvel movie.

The 20-year-old has had a good 2024 season on the court in 2024, winning two singles titles so far. Gauff kicked off the year by successfully defending her title at the 2024 ASB Classic, where she defeated Elina Svitolina in the final. Her most notable triumph came at the China Open, where she beat Karolina Muchova in the title clash. This is the second Masters 1000 singles title for Gauff.

Additionally, the 20-year-old also won the women's doubles title at the French Open, where she teamed up with Katerina Siniakova. The pair beat the Italian duo of Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini in the final.

Coco Gauff competed in all four Grand Slam tournaments this year, reaching the semifinals at the Australian Open and the French Open before falling to eventual champions Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek, respectively. She also made it to the fourth round at Wimbledon and the US Open before losing to compatriot Emma Navarro on both occasions.

Gauff's strong performances earned her a spot in the singles event at the 2024 WTA Finals in Riyadh, which is scheduled to take place from November 2 to November 9, 2024.

Before heading to the season-ending tournament, the World No. 3 took to social media and shared a series of photos of her and her brother, Cameron dressed up as Deadpool and Wolverine, respectively for Halloween.

"deadpool & wolverine ❤️ 💛 #halloween #marvel," Gauff captioned her Instagram post.

The 20-year old shared that she had "fun" dressing up as one of the iconic Marvel duos with her brother .

"unfortunately only one costume this year lol :( your girl got thangsss to do buut had fun doing this with my brother ❤️ 💛 @camerongauff," Gauff captioned her Instagram story.

The post caught the attention of Ryan Reynolds, who plays Deadpool in the Marvel movie. Reynolds appreciated Gauff's costume choice and shared her post on his own social media.

Gauff was thrilled by Reynolds' reaction and she expressed that she was a "huge fan" of the actor and also said that she had fun transforming Deadpool into a "city girl ."

"@cocogauff This happened," Reynolds captioned his Instagram story.
"AHHHH i'm a huge fan 😭 ❤️ this is crazzzyyyyy. lol sorry but I had to turn deadpool into a city girl 😂 💅🏾 ," Gauff wrote.

Gauff also shared a video of herself recreating Deadpool's dance to NSYNC's hit song "Bye Bye Bye."

This year, Coco Gauff will be making her third appearance at the WTA Finals, having previously qualified in 2022 and 2023.

Gauff, along with defending champion Iga Swiatek, Aryna Sabalenka, Jasmine Paolini, Jessica Pegula, Elena Rybakina, Zheng Qinwen and Barbora Krejcikova have all secured their spots for the singles event at the 2024 WTA Finals.

The World No.3 has been placed in the orange group, where she will face off against Pegula, Swiatek, and Krejcikova in the group stages. Gauff will kick off her campaign by taking on Pegula in the first group stage match of the season-ending tournament
