Coco Gauff shared her excitement at Beyonce's surprise teaser drop on Thursday, December 26. The singer-songwriter shared a 15-second clip with fans with a cryptic message.
The clip showed Beyonce seated on a white horse. The 32-time Grammy award-winner, dressed as a cowgirl, swirled the American flag before turning to face the camera. The clip then cut to reveal the date January 14, 2025.
Beyonce shared the clip on Instagram and captioned it:
"Look at the horse."
The clip set social media abuzz with guesses of what was coming on the mentioned date.
Coco Gauff amped up the excitement by re-sharing the clip on her Instagram story.
"GOAT" Gauff wrote.
Gauff is an ardent Beyonce fan and had attended the latter's Renaissance World Tour in Paris ahead of the 2023 French Open in May last year. After her maiden Grand Slam win at the 2023 US Open, Gauff had also treated herself to a movie outing on Beyonce's Renaissance Tour with her friends.
After a quarterfinal finish at the 2024 Dubai Tennis Championships in February, Gauff gave a shout-out to Beyonce via a WTA podcast, hilariously offering to pay for coaching Beyonce's children Rumi and Blue.

Coco Gauff enjoyed a successful 2024 season with semifinal runs at the Australian Open and French Open. The American later clinched the WTA Finals trophy before finishing the year as World No. 3.
Gauff, who is letting her hair down during the offseason, recently took to X to react to Beyonce's halftime performance with her daughter Blue during halftime of the Christmas Day game between Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans in Houston.
"Beyonce and blue!! 10s all around," wrote Gauff.
Beyonce is one of the best-selling music artists with a sale of over 100 million records worldwide. She performed on the tracks of her album 'Cowboy Carter' which was released in March of this year. She sported a cowgirl look onstage that coordinated with Blue and the backup dancers. She also invited guests including country singers Post Malone and Shaboozey to join her.
Beyonce's performance also drew the attention of 23-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams. She had previously made an appearance in Houston at the Super Bowl XXXVIII where she sang the American national anthem.
