Coco Gauff gave a shoutout to Kyling Sadler on her 21st birthday. Sadler is a rising American tennis who has represented the Kansas Jayhawks. According to the player's profile on the Kansas Jayhawks' official website, she is originally from Atlanta, Georgia, and attended Laurel Springs High School.
The 2023-24 season marked her sophomore year, during which she earned her first singles win of the season at the TCU Invitational, ending with a 1-2 record in singles and 0-1 in doubles. Sadler also competed in the ITA Central Region Championship and made her return to competitive play after over a year at the SMU Invitational.
In the previous season, Fall 2022, she recorded one singles victory. Off the court, Sadler is pursuing a major in human biology on a pre-med track, with a minor in business.
She recently celebrated her 21st birthday with a carousel of images on Instagram where she dazzled in a dress.
"Real over bad, but this a 2-for-1🥂 " Sadler captioned her post.
Coco Gauff reshared the post on her Instagram Story with multiple heart-eyes emojis.
Gauff's 2024 season began with a title in Auckland in January, a feat that was cheered by Sadler as she reposted a tweet about it.
However, the American's season took a challenging turn, as she failed to reach a final in any event until September. Following her fourth-round exit while defending her US Open title, she parted ways with coach Brad Gilbert.
Despite this setback, Gauff rebounded impressively, winning the WTA 1000 event in China in her first tournament after the US Open. She capped off the season in spectacular fashion by clinching the WTA Finals title and securing the year-end World No. 3 ranking.
Since her triumph, Gauff has been enjoying her offseason, including attending a music festival she had been looking forward to since the WTA Finals.

During the live concert, Gauff uploaded a video of her namedrop, sharing that it was her first time hearing it performed live.
Gauff has since resumed preseason training, as revealed in an update on her X account. The young American star will look to build on her recent success with new coach Matt Daly as she heads into the 2025 season with high hopes.
