American tennis stars Coco Gauff, Madison Keys, and others congratulated Taylor Townsend and Katerina Siniakova on their women's doubles title win at the ongoing Australian Open. The duo beat Hsieh Su-Wei and Jelena Ostapenko 6-2, 6-7(4), 6-3 in the finals of the tournament.
The pair was showered with congratulatory messages from many tennis greats on their achievement.

Madison Keys shares a great friendship with Taylor Townsend. She was also present at Keys' wedding in November of 2024.

The women's doubles final was expectedly a nail-biter that came down to the last set as both the teams were equalized by the end of the second. The decider set was dominated by the top-seeded duo of the draw, as they clinched their second Grand Slam title win together.
"Being able to watch Madison win yesterday filled my heart and made me so happy. This was a really great tournament for Americans, girls that look like me. I hope that this is inspiring a little girl from the South Side of Chicago, grew up in Atlanta and now is in Melbourne winning the Australian Open. So I hope this inspires people," said Townsend during her speech at the award ceremony.
The duo had won their last major title at the 2024 Wimbledon women's doubles final, defeating Gabriela Dabrowski and Erin Routliffe.
Katerina Siniakova wins her 10th Major title with AO 25 win
The Czech tennis star, Katerina Siniakova, cemented her name as one of the greatest women's doubles tennis players in the history of the game after her 10th Grand Slam title win at the 2025 Australian Open.
"I'm enjoying it. I love to play doubles, so I'm just really happy I can say that I have all this success. It sounds amazing, and it's really nice," said Katerina at the post-match press conference.
Siniakova won the Australian Open for the third time with her last two being in 2022 and 2023. She won seven of her ten titles with compatriot Barbora Krejcikova, two with Taylor Townsend, and the other one partnering with Coco Gauff.
