Coco Gauff has made a hilarious admission about her outfit for the upcoming 2024 French Open, joking that she "low-key forgot" what it looks like. The American youngster is fairly certain that it's grey, but the look of the kit will be confirmed soon by Nike.

In a live conversation with her fans, the World No. 3 was asked about her outfit for Roland Garros. Gauff revealed that she was shown a lot of sketches of the dress, including ones of kits designed for her for the next few years.

As a result, the 20-year-old embarrassingly admitted, she got them all mixed up in her mind and couldn't immediately tell fans what color the 2024 French Open outfit was going to look like with absolute certainty.

"I low-key forgot what my Roland Garros outfit looks like. It's coming tomorrow, I think it's grey. They showed me a lot of sketches... I know what stuff looks like 3-4 years from now and I get them mixed up.
"I forgot which one is actually for this year, but I'm pretty sure it's gray," Gauff said (on TikTok Live, as shared by Twitter user 'christianscourt').

Gauff reached the quarterfinals of the French Open in her appearance last year, where she lost to eventual champion Iga Swiatek. This year, the American is seeded No. 3 in Paris and will not meet Swiatek before the semifinals.

Coco Gauff was last in action at the Italian Open last week, where she lost in the semifinals to eventual champion Iga Swiatek.

At her press conference afterwards, the American appeared optimistic despite the loss, saying that she felt like a completely different player to the one she was before she started playing in Rome.

Gauff said that Swiatek would once again be the player to beat at Roland Garros and hopes to use the learnings from their Italian Open clash to perform even better against the World No. 1 if they meet at the French Open next.

"I think going into Roland Garros, like if you asked me pretournament and now, I feel like I'm a different player in terms of just how I've been playing. I think it really turned around in the Badosa match, then pushed through the Qinwen, and then today was a 4-3 loss. I feel like the scoreline doesn't show how competitive it was. It was almost two hours at 6-4, 6-3," Coco Gauff said.
"Going into it, I know [Iga Swiatek's] the one to beat if I want to win Roland Garros. I'm going to take what I learned from today and try to apply that next time we play, which I hope is at Roland Garros," she added.

Coco Gauff is a former finalist at the French Open, finishing as the runner-up to Swiatek in the 2022 edition.
