"I love supporting them" - Coco Gauff expressed pride in sisters Cassidy and Courtney Lowe
Cassidy and Courtney Lowe, cousins of Coco Gauff, faced off with their respective Division I NAIA teams in December last year. According to the Palm Beach Post, Cassidy said that their mother invited family members to watch.
"A lot of people are coming. That’s why Coco is interested in coming - to be with all the family we share. We’ve been talking about it for so long. My mom has been planning this for everybody. It’s been a while since I’ve had a large group of people coming to my game. In high school, when me and my sister played, everybody would come. Now in college, it’s different."
Gauff expressed pride in her cousins before the match, stating:
"I’m so proud of Cassidy and Courtney for how hard they work. It’s inspiring to see them shine in their sport and I love supporting them. No matter who wins on Monday, we are all family."
Currently, Gauff is in Melbourne preparing to continue her good form in the 2025 season. She is undefeated in five singles matches after her phenomenal performances at the United Cup. At the 2025 Australian Open, Gauff is pegged against Sofia Kenin in the first round.
